Green Party of Canada
Internship
Overview: Collaborated with the Communications team over a three-month internship to support the Green Party of Canada's mission through impactful visual storytelling. My work focused on executing a wide range of design assets, from detailed editorial reports to innovative environmental graphics, all while maintaining the integrity of the party's core values.
Role: Graphic Design Intern
Concept: Centered on creating clear and approachable visuals that align with the party’s new brand identity. Used strong typography and structured layouts to transform complex information into compelling visual stories.
Problem / Challenge: The primary challenge involved translating dense, technical information into engaging content for a diverse and aging demographic. Operating within a fast-paced, remote environment, I ensured all assets strictly adhered to the newly refreshed GPC brand guidelines, maintaining absolute consistency across all formats and platforms.
Solution: I developed a clear visual hierarchy for the Donor Impact Report and designed a streamlined UI for the Organizing Toolbox website to enhance readability and user engagement. Additionally, I created a suite of brand collateral—including tote bags, water bottles, and stickers—using diverse materials that reflect the brand's new identity. Throughout the process, I refined my designs through multiple iterations to balance clarity, visual interest, and brand alignment.
